Thriving in a creatively dynamic environment, Geraldine collaborated with peers to create some of the fashion world’s most iconic pieces, challenging the history of dress. Notable fashion collaborations include Alexander McQueen, Yves St. Laurent (now YSL), Fendi, Tom Ford, Prada, Gucci with Tom Ford, Narciso Rodriguez, Ralph Lauren, Marni, Donna Karan, Jil Sander, and Louis Vuitton.
One of Geraldine’s standout collaborations was with Narciso Rodriguez, designing the iconic dress worn by Michelle Obama on election night in 2008. With two decades of designing hand embroidery for international fashion houses, she expanded her business in 2010 to include interiors, seamlessly blending the worlds of fashion and architecture.
Geraldine’s designs have graced prestigious venues such as the Victoria & Albert Museum’s Alexander McQueen exhibition, the private members club 5 Hertford Street, Claridge’s and the newest Royal Mansour Morocco hotels, as well as apartments at One Hyde Park and Bryanston in Hyde Park, London.
Her textile archive, housing over 12,000 textiles personally designed and hand-embroidered, serves as both a testament to the breadth of skill at the Geraldine Larkin studio and atelier and a reference library for style and trends in fashion and interiors.
In this creative haven, Geraldine consults for interior designers and architects, leveraging the artistry of embroidery to seamlessly integrate into interior architecture. Whether adorning walls, ceilings, panelling, doors, chairs, cushions, or artworks, her expertise extends to the ROOME LONDON collection, featuring the exquisite and playfully elegant Geraldine Larkin couture furniture.
